Cleveland, Nov. 20 - One man was killed and another was injured seriously today when a scaffolding at Main Public Library gave way and dropped them 50 feet to the sidewalk.
William Kerver, address unknown, was killed. William P. Hander, was taken to Lakeside hospital with serious injuries.
The men were working in an aircraft 10 feet square in the interior of the library when the scaffolding gave way, police said. |

Cleveland, O., Nov. 21 0 One man plunged to his death and another man was injured ' probably fatally Thursday when a scaffolding broke in the public library.
William Kerver, 56, died instantly when his body struck the floor and William Phander, who plunged beside him, was taken to a hospital. Doctors said his condition was critical. Both Men were metal workers. |
